The Board Leadership Program (BLP) was established in 2007 with a mission of achieving a greater impact in our corporate citizenship initiatives.
Our BLP provides financial, intellectual and human capital to a collection of nonprofit organizations that align with our business priorities and inspire our employees. Investments of the program include: structured board candidate training; board placement to match skills and interest with nonprofit need; financial support; nonprofit pro bono and quarterly service activity; and opportunity to contribute directly to the community. The organization benefits from the business skills and network portfolio provided by these senior leaders. It is a valuable partnership that is making a positive difference.
Each of these custom events brought together respected nonprofit organizations, community sponsors, colleagues, friends and valuable sponsors for both an 8K, 1-Mile Fun Run and an Outdoor Family Concert. These signature events were created to support select local organizations financially, as well as provide an avenue for increased exposure and the expansion of volunteer and support networks. Since 2009, hosting six races and one concert, Acumen Solutions proudly distributed $1,100,000 to 70 local nonprofit recipients and attracted over 17,000 participants.
