Social Responsibility is one of our Core Values and an integral component of our philosophy, spirit and culture.  Since our inception, we have been committed as both business and community leaders.  We believe that to build a successful company we must contribute back to our community in hopes of making it a successful environment for others.  Our contributions of both time and resources are varied and extensive following the growth and expansion of the company.

The SEED Foundation

Jingle All the Way 10k Race

As the title sponsor of the annual Jingle All the Way 10k race, Acumen Solutions recognizes The SEED Foundation as the primary recipient of all race proceeds.  In addition to funding, the partnership includes internship opportunities, career day panels and student scholarships. The SEED Foundation is a national non-profit that partners with urban communities to provide innovative educational opportunities that prepare underserved students for success in college. 

Blind in Business (UK)

Acumen Solutions UK has partnered with Blind in Business, a charity based in the city of London which helps young blind students and graduates through Employment and Training Services.

Fairfax County Department of Family Services

Acumen Solutions has partnered with the Fairfax County Department of Family Services Holiday Spirit Program for over 4 holiday seasons. This program is dedicated to fulfilling the holiday wish of children in the county who would otherwise go without gifts. Employees provide several gifts for each child whose wishes we receive.

Skill Based Initiatives

Acumen Solutions partners with non-profit organizations to provide onsite technical expertise. Consulting services and system implementations are offered to enhance the organization's infrastructure and overall operations. Acumen Solutions leverages its business partners and their products to assist non-profits in their endeavors.

George Mason University School of Management

Acumen Solutions funds five $1,000 scholarships annually through George Mason University. Scholarships benefit undergraduate students of the School of Management, which offers degrees in Accounting, Decision Sciences/MIS, Marketing, Finance and Management.
