Acumen Solutions Announces the Acumen Solutions Race for a Cause™ 8K Race to Benefit 13 Local Charities

Participants Can Select the Non-Profit Of Their Choice

Vienna, VA — August 31, 2009 – Acumen Solutions, a leading business and technology consulting firm, announced today that it will hold its Acumen Solutions Race for a Cause™ 8K on Sunday, November 1, 2009 in Arlington, VA. Leveraging the runner’s charitable preferences, the proceeds of this unique race will benefit the following organizations.

“We selected these 13 deserving charities to strengthen our commitment and impact on each organization, in addition to the support provided by our employees year round through the ongoing Board Leadership Program, Employee Service Days and Pro Bono Projects,” said David Joubran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Acumen Solutions. The race will be on a fast out-and-back, flat course that begins and ends on North Quincy Street, near the intersection of Wilson Boulevard in Arlington, VA. The event is produced in partnership with Potomac River Running. Runners of all levels, as well as walkers are encouraged to participate.
