Cable Show CIO.IT Competition 2010

Company Participates in CTAM Tech Tour & “Cable in the Cloud” Webinar Hosted by Multichannel News

Vienna, VA – April 29, 2010 - Acumen Solutions, a leading business and technology consulting firm that specializes in leveraging cloud computing applications for business support systems in the cable MSO industry, announced today that it has been chosen by a selection committee of cable company Chief Information Officers (CIOs) as a finalist in the first-ever CIO.IT | Competition, a competitive program of solution-based presentations scheduled for the CIO.IT program at The Cable Show 2010, May 11-13, 2010,in Los Angeles, where the company is exhibiting at Booth 2139. Acumen Solutions also announced that it will demo cable IT applications on the CTAM Tech Tour during the Show and recently participated in a cloud computing application webinar hosted by Multichannel News: “Soar in the Cloud: Taking Cable’s Business Ops Higher” which aired on April 27th and is now available on-demand.

As one often finalists selected from a group of 44 applicants, Acumen Solutions will participate in two panel sessions during the CIO.IT program at The Cable Show on May 12, 2010, and present their cloud computing applications to some of of the greatest cable IT challenges before panels of cable company CIO judges.  The judges will select their favorite solution concept after observing the presentations.  Brian O’Rourke, Managing Director, Cable/MSO Practice, Acumen Solutions and Shally Stanley, Managing Director, Global Services, Acumen Solutions will present on the following topics respectively:
