Using Our Website

You can get back to our home page from any other page by clicking on our logo in the upper left-hand corner of your browser.

A navigation box appears on the right side of our pages, and guides you through the sub-categories of a specific section of the website.

The right-hand side of the screen changes to display relevant links depending upon where you are on the site.

The navigation bar, found toward the top of each page is organized into six major categories.

• Our Solutions: Browse the business and technology solutions we provide.
• Industries: Read more detail about what we have done for organizations in these industries: Communications & Media, Financial Services, Public Sector (Government) and Consumer and Commercial Products.
• Case Studies: Read more detail about our client work organized by Industry, Solution or Business Challenge.
• About Us: Learn about our management team, our partners and what we, as a company, have to offer.
• Careers: Find out what job openings we have currently as well as more about our culture, our benefits and why you should work here.

Navigation aids

• Breadcrumb Trail:
  Each page contains a 'breadcrumb trail' so that you always know where you are and can navigate easily backwards within the current hierarchy. The trail is a string read from left to right (items are separated by a slash).

• Our Logo:
  The “Acumen Solutions logo” at the top left of each page will take you back to the home page.

• Links:
  Links are blue in colour and become underlined when hovered over. All links have 'title' attributes that describe them in more detail. Links within the site to other HTML pages do not open new windows, however links to external websites or downloads do and this is indicated by the text “(New Window)” within the ‘title' attributes.

• Images:
  All images have "alt" attributes describing them in more detail.

• Tables:
  We have avoided use of HTML tables for layout where possible; However the “contact” form has been created using tables. We have attempted to make the tables used in this way as accessible as possible, using table headings and captions to explain the layout.

• Downloads:
  All material are less than 2 megabytes in size. Downloads are indicated in the Title text and clicking on the link or image associated with the download will start the process. These typically take between 28 to 60 seconds depending upon your internet connection.
