Greg Duncan will cover Best Practices and Innovations for Managing Risk in the Cloud. He will provide an exclusive look at best practices and the most powerful innovations in the security arsenal of Amazon Web Services (AWS).  Greg Duncan is a Federal Solution Architect with Amazon.com and an expert in the field of Cloud security.  He collaborates with diverse organizations to develop secure solutions and approaches for extending business operations onto a cloud-computing platform. His expertise extends across technology fields and includes strategic planning, operations management, business IT architecture, security engineering, and policy development. Greg has earned and maintains numerous professional credentials, which include the CISA, CISSP, ISSAP, ISSMP, Lead Auditor for ISO 27001, and ITIL.

Mike Wojcik from Acumen Solutions will present on Cloud Defense, Defeating the Most Widespread Security Threats. Cloud-based platforms are easily implemented, scalable, and maintainable but with those advantages come a variety of security concerns that must be addressed. What are these key threats?  How can they be reliably avoided or mitigated?  What should you do tomorrow?   Mike Wojcik has led large information assurance programs and performed intensive security assessments for major private and public sector organizations. He previously served as Deputy Director for Information Assurance for the Military Health Service, where he was responsible for security for the DoD's AHLTA EHR. He earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University, MS in Systems Engineering and MBA from George Mason University.
