David Lawson
Director, Risk Management and Compliance

David Lawson is the Director of the Risk Management & Compliance Practice at Acumen Solutions. David is an expert information and security professional with 15 years of experience in information design, deployment and management. He has successfully created and executed global information security programs for pharmaceutical manufacturing companies that align strategy with business objectives to protect critical infrastructure that are consistent with applicable laws and regulations. David has extensive experience in security program management as well as knowledge and training in multiple areas of world-class enterprise-wide security.

Malcolm Hamer
Director, Supplier Relationship Management

Malcolm Hamer has worked in large global technology organizations for most of his career, primarily in the telecommunications, banking, and securities industries - architecting, building, and operating large global infrastructures, including global networks, network-related services, and data processing.  Mr. Hamer is currently the Director for Acumen Solutions’ Supplier Relationship Management practice.
Mr. Hamer began his career in the UK, working for British Telecom then with Ericsson, supporting sales of public switching systems in the UK market. He has also been with Citibank in London, assuming responsibility for a broad range of technology infrastructure and operations and Instinet as SVP in charge of Technology Operations and Infrastructure across 46 countries. In 2001 he became an independent consultant, with clients in the financial services, telecommunications, and pharmaceutical industries. Mr. Hamer joined Acumen Solutions in the fall of 2003.  He holds an M.A. in Physics from Oxford University and an MBA from New York University.

Mary Beth Kush
Director, Enterprise Data Management

Ms. Kush is a Director in the Global Services practice at Acumen Solutions, where she is responsible for the Enterprise Data Management practice which focuses on solutions for data warehousing, data integration, business intelligence, and enterprise information integration. s. She has over nine years of experience delivering mission-critical business and technology solutions for commercial clients, non-profit organizations, and the federal government. Ms. Kush has a sustained track record of delivery excellence for J2EE and .Net web applications and data management solutions.

Prior to joining Acumen Solutions, Ms. Kush was a developer at Performance Engineering Corporation where she delivered several case management applications to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms and to a leading Patent and Trademark Law Firm. Ms. Kush is a graduate of University of Virginia, where she earned a B.A. degree in Mathematics and a concentration in Computer Science.
