Green Policy

Acumen Solutions has committed to the global environment with its “Go Green” policy to raise awareness for local action at its headquarters in the Washington, DC area and their offices in London, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco. This policy has also been adopted by Acumen Solutions’ subsidiary, Alteritech.

While basic recycling has been common at many Acumen Solutions offices, this company-wide policy is part of an ongoing review of our social responsibility.  David Joubran, President and Chief Executive Officer, said, “To promote conservation and help preserve the resources of our planet, our employees have affirmed that we must act individually and together, we can become part of the solution."

Among the steps to be taken are the following:

  • Purchase of acid-free printing paper manufactured using an elemental chlorine-free process
  • Purchase of recycled office supplies whenever possible
  • Printing of business cards without titles so that individuals can reuse them as they are promoted
  • Recycling of printer ink cartridges and computer hardware
  • Recycling of paper by providing large recycling receptacles in common areas
  • Signs posted throughout offices to encourage reuse and education of staff on proper recycle methods
  • Maintaining good indoor air quality with plants
  • Promoting the use of water and energy efficiently

Acumen Solutions is committed to a continual evaluation of its energy conservation practices and the consideration of new ways to be environmentally conscious.
