The Travel ChannelOur Fortune 500 Media client wanted to leverage popular social media outlets to engage its website audience and further expand its online brand. To accomplish this goal, the website needed to offer fresh content, ranked by popularity, based on Facebook “Like” totals. The content itself was hosted on proprietary servers and, thus required integration with Facebook’s rating data. SolutionAcumen Solutions was hired to develop the front-end web implementations for a site-wide redesign, including integration with third-party offerings. For site enhancement sub-projects, Acumen applied its full software development life cycle methodology and leveraged Facebook Public APIs to build out a solution that integrated with the client’s content management system, as well as web analytics database.
