Loan Management Workstation (LMW)

Overview

The client’s primary objective for the Loan Management Workstation project (LMW) was to reduce the exposure to data inconsistencies across this major insurance company’s systems both internally and externally. A second objective was to facilitate a data collection and sharing solution which streamlined the flow of data and ultimately increased the integrity of data throughout all lines of the client’s business.
Business Objectives were as follows:

  • Allow the company to manage and maintain its own information
  • Improve the delivery of information
  • Improve workflow and process of loan management

Business Challenge

The core of the LMW platform was designed to interface with the client’s existing systems architectures (i.e. REIOS, MSAS and MIS). The client retained Acumen Solutions to develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Assurance plan to test system design and integration.

Solution

Acumen Solutions established a detailed test strategy that validated all of the client’s business requirements, coupled with detailed documentation which outlined the QA process in detail. The work product resulted in a complete understanding of system functionality and its alignment with the client’s business objectives.
